Description
Early Georgian - 6 large Spoons - London circa 1716 to 1730 and two others either George II or III (see photos) - total weight is 11.40 troy ozs.they have rattails on the back of bowls.
Marked: the earliest spoon is hallmarked with the Britannia mark, date letter "A" and lion's head erased and the makers mark which is hard to make out. Another spoon hallmarked with the leopards head crowned, date letter "P" lion passant, makers mark (hard to make out), Another spoon hallmarked with the leopards head crowned, lion passant, date letter "R" and makers mark (hard to make out), and the other 3 are hallmarked too (see photos) some hard to make out and date.
Measurements: 8 1/4" to 7 1/2".
Monograms: 3 have no monograms, one has a nice crest and 2 other have monograms (see photos)
Condition: Good Condition. - light scratches and normal wear from age and use (One over 300 years old some others over 250 years old too) see photos.
