    I am pleased to offer for auction
    2 excellent quality antique fully marked sterling silver MADEIRA wine labels of a curved and rectangular form. They were coming from Birmingham, where produced in 1821 & 1840y.
    1821y:
    made by Joseph Taylor, working during 1814..1828, registered Apr 1813. His Co produced boxes, caddy spoons, decanter labels, flatware, fruit knives, vinaigrettes.
    1840y:
    made by Taylor & Perry (John Taylor & John Perry), successors to Joseph Taylor; address: Newhall Street, Birmingham; working during 1830..1849, (registered Jul 1829); The Co
    produced baskets, boxes, card cases, caddy spoons, decanter labels, etui, pincushions, vinaigrettes.
    Hallmarks are clear as you can see in the photos.

    easure 1 1/4" x 2 3/4"(1840y) & 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" (1821y).
    They are in the excellent estate condition with a light patina as a result of time. No cracks, no dents or repairs.
