Governor of Indiana campaign that has been 100% authentically hand signed / autographed by the former Indiana Lt. Governor (1965-69) & Governor Candidate Bob Rock himself (Died in 2013)-The brochure is titled "Democrat Robert L. Rock Lieutenant Governor Win Indiana 1964. For Progress in Indiana- Vote Straight Democrat. Elect the First Democratic Legislature Since 1937" and pictures Rock and features a vintage blue ink signature signed "Best Wishes Bob Rock" on front below his photo- Brochure is in very fine condition-This is an ORIGINAL item, NOT A REPRODUCTION item! Here's some info on Mayor Rock:
Robert L. Rock (September 8, 1927 – January 9, 2013) was an American politician. Born in Alexandria, Indiana, Rock grew up in Anderson, Indiana. He served in the United States Navy during World War II as a hospital corpsman at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in business in 1951. In 1956, he married Mary Jo Ferguson with whom he had four children and later nine grandchildren. In 1954, at the age of 26, Rock was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives as a Democrat serving in the 1955, 1959, 1961, and 1963 sessions. Then he served as Lieutenant Governor of Indiana from 1965-1969. In 1968, Rock was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Indiana, but lost the election. He later served as Mayor of Anderson, Indiana from 1972-1980, where he established the Anderson Housing Authority Commission and the City of Anderson Transportation System (CATS). Rock died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 9, 2013 at the age of 85.

I try and place a penny in every photo to help judge the size of the item, obviously it is there for size comparison and is not included with the item. In other words, if you intend on using a 50+ year old letter opener and it breaks, don't get mad at us. It may be hard to believe, but we have received a couple negatives because people broke vintage items while trying to use them.
