    1944 Texas License Plate, a pair, two plates.  Please see all pictures as they are the most important part of the description.  All original, vintage, pair of 1944 Texas license plates.  These are the small 2 inch by 2 inch plates that Texas issued for residents to bolt on to their larger license plates during the war to conserve on the use of metal.  Plates were never used and are in great shape.  I would classify them as new old stock.  The plates have only minor imperfections.  Hard to find a pair in this condition.  I only ship within the continental United States.  Thank you for viewing and good luck!
