1938 David Lloyd George Secretary Typed Letter Signed to Native American Indian

Description

This is an original typed letter signed by A.J. Sylvester in his capacity as personal secretary to the Right Honorable David Lloyd George of England.  This letter is on the official office stationery of The Right Honorable D. Lloyd George and still in the original envelope mailed from London, England with a December 8, 1938 postmark and addressed to Native American Indian poet Mr. W.F. Skyhawk (White Fox Sky-Hawk) of Richmond, California.   The letter is dated 8th December, 1938 and addressed “Dear Sir”.
A.J. Sylvester thanks Mr. Skyhawk for the verses he sent to David Lloyd George and the letter reads:
“Mr. Lloyd George asks me to thank you for your letter of the 19th November, with its enclosures.  He appreciates your courtesy in letting him see your verses titles “The Vision of Lord Nelson”, which he perused with interest.  Yours faithfully, A.J. Sylvester”
The letter and autograph are in very good condition and the envelope shows some dust staining and moderate wear.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
