    Description

Presented is a lovely English sterling silver large soup punch ladle from 1813. The piece displays a rounded tipt pattern and classic oval bowl.
The reverse is marked with full English hallmarks: the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the duty mark of King George III's head, and the date letter S representing 1813. There is also a markers mark that is mostly worn but likely for William Eley, William Fearn, and William Chawner.
This piece is in great overall condition. There may be a monogram removal to the front, but if so it was done very well. There are no current monograms, no breaks, and no repairs.
    Length: 12 1/2 inches
Weight: 180 grams or 6.3 ounces
